Frequently asked questions
The Coil Pro's EMF capture space is a 5m radius around Coil Pro (i.e. a 10m diameter tracking area), however the capture is uninterrupted outside this range as the Smartgloves' and Smartsuit Pro II's IMU sensors will take over the motion tracking and are only limited to WiFi range (i.e. up to 100m).
The Coil Pro creates a 5m tracking radius that establishes absolute position for the Smartsuit Pro II and Smartgloves.
When walking out of the Coil Pro's 5m tracking range, the IMU sensors of the Smartsuit Pro II and Smartgloves will automatically take over for an uninterrupted capture experience.
Similarly, when walking back inside the Coil Pro's tracking range, the EMF tracking will automatically kick in again to resume the absolute position tracking.
The Coil Pro will provide tracking data to the following products:
- Smartgloves: absolute position tracking - either standalone or when combined with Smartsuit Pro II. Visualise, record and stream the capture data in Rokoko Studio.
- Smartsuit Pro I & II: global position tracking - only when combined with the Smartgloves (the Smartsuit Pro I & II derive their global position from the Smartgloves' EMF sensor data). Visualise, record and stream the tracking data in Rokoko Studio.
